For election day, I went to the Clark County Government Center in order to get permission to do all the things I want to do. Since COVID-19 is still rampant, I wasn’t sure if there were any new temporary laws that would forbid me to give out items (granola bars, water, gatorade, PPE, etc.) or provide entertainment. I got the ok to hand out all the things I want to, but I was advised that I am going to have trouble with bussing. There are too many liability issues and there isn’t enough time to go through the proper channels to do that. I just need to be mindful about the situation. We need to wear masks, gloves and do the proper social distancing when handing out items. Next we have to adjust our transportation portion of our voting initiative.
